I was born and raised in the heart of Flanders, where I kicked off my academic career at KU Leuven, driven by a passion for languages and stories. After graduating with an MA in Journalism, I packed my bags for London with my mind set on a career in international sports media. ​

Over the years, my professional journey has slalomed through journalism, broadcasting, creative direction, and outdoor and travel filmmaking and photography. Along the way, I’ve picked up an extra Master’s in Sports Journalism in London, won a national NCTJ Video Award, and gathered thousands of hours of shooting and editing experience. ​ ​

 

In my early days, I doubled down on the fast-paced worlds of professional cycling, the NFL, fight sports, and football, but I've always had a soft spot for the human element behind the action. That led me to the world of adventure, travel, and outdoor filmmaking. Whether I'm in the editing suite putting together a trailer for Belgian TV or am out in the field with a camera waiting for expedition cyclists, my focus is always on finding the emotional core of the narrative.

 

Today, I love applying that same cinematic approach to (small) businesses, helping brands tell their stories in a way that feels natural, engaging, and authentic. Thanks to my Brussels base and ability to work across English, French, Dutch, and even Spanish and German, I’m ready to hit the ground running wherever the story takes me. ​
